Falling way behind Everton
It's clear from the targets and success Everton are dealing in that they've made a statement to pull away from the chasing pack. Our board would do well to follow their lead if we want some success at our place.

Feel free to cunt me off if you disagree.

TBF, the Cypriots could really play. They ran out of steam in the 2nd half but looked better organised and fitter than us. Good result.

Good to see them only draw 2-2 at home to the Cypriots... 10 man Cypriots at that!

Koeman's days must me numbered.

Re: Falling way behind Everton
well we did last season as they had a world class sriker banging them in and we had none.

Upcoming season I'm not too sure. In fact I think our squad is stronger.

The trouble with opening your gib too early, is that , by the end of the transfer window, you can look a right twat. :-)
I really hope that this can be bumped up a few more times.

Even in our golden period of the 60's they were still ahead of us.

When we finished 3rd in 86 who finished 2nd?

It is what it is

Pretty much suns it up for me. Compare that to:

Hart

Zaba
Ogbonna
Reid
Masuaku

Kouyate
Obiang

Antonio
Lanzini
Arnie

Hernandez

Way behind my arse. Everton were the only club doing business at one point and they were hitting it large. It turned peoples heads and they started getting itchy feet and started panicking.

As usual the negativity sets in and on here for a few weeks it was like a fucking funeral.

But the bottom line is Everton have spent a shed load and that is still currently there best starting eleven. And even if you add Gilfy to that it still isn't a team that I think is going places.

It's decent but from the fucking knicker wetters on here a few weeks ago you'd think Koenam was assembling a scouse version of La Galacticos!

Good. Seeing how people have been claiming how great at doing business they are, and willing to just pay the asking price , we should ask for 8m like we paid for Fonte and this should be done in no time.

i'm sorry but i'm not convinced!...they still haven't replaced their best player in Lukaku!...he scared the life out of defences and pulled them all over the place leaving space for his team mates and let's not forget 25 odd goals a season!

Is Barkley out of our reach? He's definitely leaving and seemingly struggling to get a club

Bookies have us about 15 points behind them. I don't think that will be the case.

Yeah, another decent forward and a midfielder with pace and punch. Looking forward to the season opener against the Mancs, will be very interesting.

Thank you, Banjo. Need two more but I'm not going to wee my panties just because we haven't signed anyone for 48 hours.
